This work began as a series of drawing performances at Manchester School of Art; FACT, Liverpool and Cornerhouse, Manchester exploring the use of biosensors. I worked with a creative coder to reconfigure the ways in which the data from bio-sensors were visualised using my drawings as a framework. For the performance, signals from skin galvanometers and EEG headsets were transmitted in real time upon a large sheet of paper and traced.

‘Noise+Signal’ has since been developed into an interactive work and shown at events during science festivals and V&A museum, as well as part of a solo show at Watermans Arts, London.
