‘Noisy Bodies’ is series of drawings and prints that is the outcome of an art and science residency in Imaging Science at the University of Manchester, hosted by Professor Rebecca Elliott. The central focus of my residency was the concept of ‘noise’ in medical imaging: unknown interferences in the process of data transmission that cannot be erased. The work was exhibited in a solo show at John Rylands, Manchester (2016), and toured to LifeSpace Gallery, Dundee (2017) and to Watermans Arts, London. A drawing from the series was short listed for the Art Gemini prize, London.
