This residency was based in the anatomy labs and the Life Science museum at King’s College, London. I set up a studio space in the corner of a busy teaching environment, displaying drawings and prints made from objects such as anatomy models, slides and collections from the museum upon the wall over time. During this time I also ran workshops with students (please see the video tab) exploring links between human and non-human life. The relationships between human morphology and non-human morphologies became the focus of my residency. The prints were later used to create a costume ‘Symbiotic Morphology’ which was worn by a dancer for a filmed performance at King’s in summer 2021. An animated film will be produced from the footage in summer 2022.
