‘In Pericula: At Risk’ was filmed in the Life Science Museum, King College, London and is the outcome of a residency. In the film, a performer is wearing a costume created from prints of bones, horns, shells and corals – objects preserved and classified in the museum collections. A soundtrack of children reciting the names of different species currently on the red list (in danger of extinction), accompanies the footage. The animated film addresses questions about the separateness and inter-connection between human and more-than-human life.
