King’s College Residency 2019/20

This residency was based in the anatomy labs and the Life Science museum at King’s College, London. As part of my research process, I set up a ‘studio’ in a busy teaching laboratory environment, where I displayed my work-in-progress such as drawings and prints responding to objects in the laboratory and life science collections. I also ran workshops with medical students in collaboration with staff.

The relationship between human morphology and more-than-human morphologies became the focus of my residency and I created a costume ‘Symbiotic Morphology’ which was worn by a dancer for a filmed performance in the Life Science museum. The animated film ‘In Pericula: At Risk’ was the final outcome of the residency.
